On 31st Oct 2018, a group of 10 students of final year of Social Work Department (Karachi University) under the leadership of Dr. Shahid (HOD Social Work Department) visited ZEST schools at Pasban chowk, Ibrahim Haidri, Karachi. The purpose of the visit was to get in-depth learning experience from teachers, students and social workers of TNW.

The group was led by Dr. Shahid (HOD Social Work Department KU). Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Chairman The NGO World) welcomed the delegation and gave orientation to students about TNW and its programs. Mr. Sardar Shakeel shared the details of ZEST project. He shared the process of opening a ZEST Centre, community engagement, identification and selection of teachers and students. Students of KU also played games with ZEST students. They asked questions regarding their areas of interest and hurdles in getting an education, especially girls’ education. Students also expressed their feelings and paid thanks to ZEST Teachers and TNW to provide the educational facilities at doorsteps.
