The NGO World had initiated Non-Formal education project “ZEST “in 2016 at Bangali Para, Usman Got, Jummah Goth, Bilal colony and Pasban Chok of districts Malir & Korangi. Initially, 25 centers were established, in which 700 students get enrolled. As it was non-formal education centers, students completed their primary education in 3 years.
In 2019, Directorate of Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education, Sindh conducted final exams of these students.

Ceremony ws held at Airmen Golf Club, Korangi Creek. The delegation of Turkia Diyanet Vakfi graced the event. Mr. Alam Thaheem, Director L&NFBE Sindh, Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Chairman TNW, Mr. Mehboob Elahi, Provincial Coordinator JICA Sindh and Mr. Zulfiqar from GEAR were guests of honor.
First, Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Chairman TNW welcomed to all, shared the process and progress of 25 ZEST centers. Also discussed the future plan of these students. He especially shared the support and facilitation of Sindh literacy department. Mr. Alam Thaheem played his vital role on completion of these centers.
Brother Umer Farooq from Turkia Diyanet, shared his immense pleasure on the completion of primary education. He said that Turkey loves the people of Pakistan. We have great feelings and emotions for Pakistan. This is first time, he and other colleagues visiting Pakistan. He feels great pleasure as 700 students have completed their primary education. He thanked to TNW and Mr. Zafar Iqbal for this great success. He also shared his gratitude for Sindh Literacy department.
At Last, Mr. Alam Thaheem, shared his views on this ceremony. He welcomed and paid his gratitude to honorable Turkish guests from Turkia Diyanet. He presented Sindhi Ajrak to all distinguished guests.
At last 25 teachers were presented certificates by Turkish delegation, Mr. Alam Thaheem and Mr. Zafar Iqbal.
