TNW organizes Blood Donation Camp at PRCS

A blood donation camp was held at Pakistan Red Crescent Society Headquarters on Monday 23 July 2018, to help patients suffering from diseases such as thalassemia, cancer and trauma patients who are always in need of safe blood.

The activity was organized by The NGO World (TNW) under its PATH program. Mr. Sajjad Nayyer, Manager Resource Mobilization, lead the group.

The Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Sardar Sami Ullah, Program Manager Youth & Volunteers PRCS. He thanked all volunteers for their donation. He offered to arrange First Aid training for all volunteers. In this camp Overwhelming number of Volunteers of CUST has participated with vivacity. 14 Volunteers have donated the blood in camp.

Mr. Ibrahim, Head of Pakistan Delegation Turkish Red Crescent was also guest of honor of the camp. He addressed to all blood donors and volunteers and appreciated their volunteer work and passion. He urged to do more volunteer work in your surroundings, like cleanliness and tree plantation. He assured full support of TRCS for volunteer work to students of any university and TNW. At the end, Mr. Ibrahim had a group photo with all.

All blood donors have given certificates from PRCS.
