TNW believes that social development cannot be achieved without engaging, involvement and meaningful participation of youth/students. Keep this in mind, TNW signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST) on 10th January 2018. Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Executive Director TNW and Mr. Abubakar Siddique, Director Volunteer In Service (VIS) signed MoU and urge to play a positive and vital role in social development.
The purpose of this MoU is;
- To recognize the opportunity for the positive learning experience and mutual benefit students and volunteers.
- To endorse partnerships with the community, NGOs, Governmental Agencies, Trusts, Associations, and other such organizations that advance the quality of life and the educational, health-related, intellectual, artistic, civic, cultural and economic aspirations for all those living or working in the neighboring communities.
To support University’s mission and values, which strongly endorse the mission of the university’s Volunteers in Service Directorate is to inspire, encourage and support students and faculty in their pursuit of academic excellence through involvement in pedagogies that combine explicit academic learning objectives, preparation and reflection with meaningful service activities in the community.
