Teacher’s Training under ZEST Program…

TNW’s core Program ZEST (ZakaUllah Educational Support and Training) is serving the marginalized & underprivileged community of Jumma Goth and Ibrahim Haidri (Karachi) through providing Quality Education, Character Building and Transfer of life skills. To enhance the capacity of 100 teachers of ZEST schools, TNW organized series of training’s for teachers (Females) of ZEST schools.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, the 2 Days Training on “Effective Communication / Presentation Skills and Elimination of Social Evils” has completed on 27-28 November 2017. Total 27 participants (female teachers) were attended the training. Earlier the first training with this title was conducted in last week for the teachers of ZEST school Project Karachi. The main contents of the training were, Perception Skills, Communication process/models, Types of communication, Presentation Skills, Qualities, Roles and Responsibilities of the good Teacher and Elimination of Social Evils. Respected Atiq Mirza Sab, Director, Institute of NGO Leadership and Management was the lead trainer.
By the end of training, participants appreciated the TNW’s efforts to enhance the capacity of teachers. They emphasized the continuation of capacity building workshops, so that they can practice updated teaching methodologies in a best way of communication.
At the end of training Ms. Gulnaz Jabeen, provincial Coordinator from AQAL project-JICA is also visited the training venue. She has observed the training content, way of facilitation and level of participation. She expressed her feelings that these kind of training’s could be very helpful to boost the capacity of teachers from such kind of areas. She also told that she will share her experience with her management, specially with Mr. Abid Gill and might be interested to replicate this training for their teachers.
