Annual Awards Ceremony 2019 at RIDA Center for Girls Education

Keeping the tradition of awarding contributors since 2012, annual awards ceremony was organized on 7th December 2019 at RIDA Mahnisial Khanewal. Honourable guests acknowledged the efforts of initiators and appreciated the RIDA students and teachers for their exceptional performance both in academic and extracurricular activities during the year.

Chairman, The NGO World and founding member of RIDA, Mr. Zafar Iqbal started the program by giving a brief introduction, history and achievements of the institution. He told the guests about the real motives behind its establishment and journey of its success.

Dignitaries who graced the program include; Member Punjab Assembly Mrs. Shahida Malka Hayat, Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Kabir Wala Mr. Ghulam Mustafa, Chief Editor Shab o Roz Mr. Imtiaz Ali Asad, Mr. Ali Khan Daha, and Rao Muhammad Arif advocate.

In his speech, Assistant Commissioner said “I am very pleased to see the rural girls having confidence and abilities. By getting higher education they are earning a great name for their parents and teachers”.

While speaking on this occasion, Mrs. SHAHIDA MALKA (MPA) said “Girl’s education is more important because an educated girl becomes a good mother, a good sister, a good daughter and a good citizen of Pakistan. RIDA is playing a remarkable role for female education and I am very pleased to see that the girls of the neglected rural areas are getting positions and competing the institutions of cities around”.

Mr. Imtiaz Asad delivered a motivational and inspiring lecture. He highlighted and appreciated the role of parents and teachers for the success of the institution. He said that the RIDA has not only maintained its standard of education but also preserved the positive traditions and values.

Rao Muhammad Ijaz thanked the parents for showing their trust in RIDA and its management. He promised to continue the mission of giving well educated and well-mannered daughters to the native community.

Guests also delivered the gifts and awards to the achievers and conveyed their best wishes for the bright future.
