JOIN HANDS TO STRENGTHEN NETWORKING OF NGOs

TNW will join UNIW to Strengthen Networking amoung NGOs

TNW Foundation is continuing its journey to make the world a peaceful place for all. It spreading its message and sharing its experiences by joining different social sector groups and networks. In recent step, Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Executive Director, The NGO World had a meeting with Mr. Atty. Ali Kurt, Secretary General of UNIW on 28 November 2017. He also invited to join the group of UNIW. Now TNW is going to be part of UNIW in a couple of days.
Zafar Iqbal, ED TNW shared the objectives, way of working and programs of TNW. He also shared the role TNW in networking and collaborations of NGOs of Pakistan. He briefly explained Greater Good Magazine, NGOs Directory and Celebration of “The World NGO Day” from the platform of TNW. Mr. Ali Kurt expressed his deepest gratitude to Mr. Zafar Iqbal for TNW work and achievements.
UNIW is going to organize a “NGOs Fair 2017” in Istanbul, in which 130 member organizations from 40 countries will be participated and display their work. TNW also set the stall and showcase their work. It would be great opportunity to exchange experiences, works, ideas and innovations with 130 organizations of 40 countries.

The Union of NGOs Of The Islamic World (UNIW):

The Union of NGOs of the Islamic World has completed its foundation process in December 20005, under the provisions of the Act No. 3335 regarding the Foundation of the organizations having international characteristics. Currently, UNIW has 312 members from 63 countries.
The UNIW, is a project of unity, established for this purpose. Members are the stones of a building. Its purpose is to ensure sustainable development, unity, coordination, among the NGOs of the Islamic world, to contribute to the emergence of an environment of the justice, peace, and stability all around the world; to protect the rights and liberties of individuals and societies; to carry out activities in order to present Islamic culture and values.
Atty. Ali Kurt, elected as Secretary General in the 5th General Assembly meeting in 2012, was reelected for the general secretariat of the UNIW in the 6th General Assembly Meeting held in 2015 for the 2015-18 term.
