Enhancing Capacities of Teachers of ZEST Schools

TNW’s core Program ZEST (ZakaUllah Educational Support and Training) is serving the marginalized & underprivileged community of Jumma Goth and Ibrahim Haidri (Karachi) through providing Quality Education, Character Building and Transfer of life skills.   To enhance the capacity of 100 teachers of ZEST schools, TNW organized series of trainings for teachers (Females) of ZEST schools.  

By the grace of Almighty Allah, the second , 2 Days Training on “Effective Communication / Presentation Skills and Elimination of Social Evils  has completed on 15-16 November 2017. Total 30 participants (female teachers) were attended the training. First part of this training was conducted in March 2017 for the teachers of ZEST schools Project Karachi. The main contents of the training were, Perception Skills, Communication process/models, Types of communication, Presentation Skills, Qualities, Roles and Responsibilities of a good Teacher and Elimination of Social Evils.  

Respected Atiq Mirza Sab, Director, Institute of NGO Leadership and Management was the lead trainer.  

By the end of training, participants appreciated the TNW’s efforts to enhance the capacity of teachers. They emphasized the continuation of capacity building workshops, so that they can practice updated teaching methodologies in a best way of communication. 

TNW, under ZEST project is plan to conduct training for youth on Microenterprise development to promote self-employment on Coming week.
